An Ode to Physics

Light waves, sound waves,
Electromagnetic fields,
Orbiting, gravity,
That’s all fine.
But vectors?
You and your evil calculus,
Newton.
I’d like physics, if
It weren’t for difficult
Mathical nonsense.
What phooey-head decided
It would be fun
To push blocks down inclines
And use math to find out useless information?
Radio activity, charges, magnets.
Physics would be fun without math.
But every physics student knows,
If there’s a force,
There’s a complicated formula to go with it.
